@kingalow1 I think a chameleon is a great way to describe Bowie, as, contrary to popular belief a chameleon actually changes colour to suit its mood, rather than as a camouflage. Therefore, I believe, such a description very much suits Bowie.

Bowie is so famous, and justly so, for his presentation - his look, his voice, the way he moves, the costumes and sets, the sound of his records - that it's hard to remember that he is also a guy who writes knockout lyrics, melodies, and chord progressions, just like any great songwriter you could name.

I heard one of the guys on here say that some people say Bowie isn't much of a song craftsmen... to me that's like hearing someone say that Aunt Jemima doesn't know much about pancakes. Bowie is as good as it gets!!!
