Raiders of the Lost Ark was a 50s film serial? Who would be best suited for the role of Indiana Jones? How would his villains translate to this era? What would the film's musical score sound like?
Thankfully, since George Lucas and Steven Spielberg created Raiders as a homage to classic serials, these questions are easily answered. Both directors have acknowledged that specific films influenced key sequences across all four Indiana Jones films. I tried my best piece these films together and create a loose narrative. I hope you enjoy this homage to "Raiders" and the many great films that inspired it.
This "pre-make" is a mash-up of old trailers and clips found all over Youtube. It is not endorsed or connected to Paramount Pictures or Lucasfilm. It was made as a purely technical exercise and for laughs. Here is the recipe: The 10 Commandments, Prince Valiant, Naked Jungle, Secret of the Incas, Jungle Queen, Zulu, Look to Lockheed for Leadership, Casablanca, The City of Brass, Mr. Moto takes a Vacation, Star in My Crown, A Pain in the Pullman, On Dangerous Ground, Patton, King Solomons Mines, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Greatest Show on Earth, David and Bathsheba, The Screaming Skull, When You Know, Mysterious Mr. Moto, Lawrence of Arabia, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and Superman at Bay.

Actually "The Secret of the Incas" has always been one of my favorite Heston films---long before Indiana Jones ever came onto the screen! It is a long lost relic for sure! A real gem!
I think it's funny that half the people commenting here think for some reason that all these clips came from some single lost film. It says right up in the description which movies were sampled, fellahs....some 24 different ones.
Great job on the Peter Lorre "Mr. Moto" addition, btw.
