Wood looks great! The only difference i would of done was getting that lightning cut on the buttstock and a swollen lower hand guard like the real russian wood.

Your friend did a good job making that look like real commie wood. I think i'm actually going to replace the wood on my SAR-1 with Bakelite hardware. Just depends on what I can find. It not then it'll be getting a similar treatment as your friend's.
