Can Windows Do This??

Linux Baby. Running Debian Etch Linux with the gnome window manager and X-Windows display engine. I use a command-line 3d window switcher that I mapped to a keystroke with gconf-editor and metacity. I use rhythmbox music player and mplayer for video. The theme is one I customized (Recolored) from the theme bloodline. The result is this. Oh, and I recorded with istanbul desktop session recorder. If it seems a bit laggy, thats cuz I was recording video while doing all of this. Keep in mind this is NOT possible on XP because of its old ass graphics display stack. Vista may change this, but for now linux pwns windows in that respect. Anybody can do this with some time and dedication ;-)

@hylogibbon The Linux in Android is different from the "Linux" people usually talk about.

They usually mean GNU/Linux, but insist that it's "inconvenient" and hard to say, but then we end up with misconceptions such that an Android/Linux system is very similar to GNU/Linux.

In any case, if we're *really* talking about just Linux and not the operating system, then there's probably not much to worry about.

The weak points are usually in userspace, not kernelspace.

Yes with some mods but my Windows can play 90% of games with out wine :)
