aVR shows the basal part of the ventricular septum. aVR has uses beyond that of correct lead placement. If it's mean vector is positive, you are probably dealing with a ventricular arrhythmia. ST-elevation in aVR indicates a possible Left Main coronary occlusion.

As far as I know, it doesnt really show anything relevant. But you can use it to determine if you placed your electrodes correctly. If placed correct you will see negative QRS complexes in this lead.
