Milkweed and the Monarch Butterflies have a place in our eclectic garden some now reaching over 6 feet tall. Take a quick look at this patch of Milkweed in our front yard.

  • That is very poetic! Kind of like King Lear from my childhood nursery rhymes. Maybe you should try growing Silver Maples next time. Humor makes the world go ‘round.

  • I really like tree frogs, but I have never seen any on the milkweed here. They tend to attract aphids which then attract ants that eat them, so they are kind of like magnets that keep them off my plants.

It’s good to hear what happens in other peoples’ gardens. Thanks for sharing.

  • I find lots of tree frogs hanging out on them. I think we're a bit north of you though.

  • I grow milk weed so I don't have to buy milk. I grow money plant so I don't have to work. But the bank won't let me deposit my money. WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM?!?
