Don't know if the ambient noise was intentional or not. However, it reminds me of Robert Johnson's recordings on wax cylinders. I like that.

@MyMoppet52 Chris Cornell was genius to bring WE Whitmore with him. From someone I believe to have the lyrical and vocal talent unlike no other, regarding CC, he can obviously feel great talent. Not see, nor listen...you feel he has lived and breathed every word he says. In the zone when he sings, puts it very lightly. When Chris was singing, "When I'm Down"( Ck. out OrangePeel, Asheville) You could feel he was in a place only a artist goes, when they know, it doesn't get better. WEW has been.

@dekama3 I don't usually envy people but I almost envy you this concert! Mason has fantastic taste!!! I am hoping to get to see him live sometime. He sounds so cool, but I like him because of his music. It makes me get chills when he begins some of his songs. What a talent!

@keokukiowaman31 We saw him in Asheville, NC.with CC. I was so excited. On youtube someone said they went to school with him, he was very well liked but to be nice to him because he has had a hard life. When I heard him sing, I could not imagine why anyone would be disrespectful, in any way. He gave me chills in my bones and he is the true definition of soul. When he finished, my son, Mason, 7, shook hands & he said, "Man, you must have cool parents!" & took pics.w/us. I'm proud 2 have met him!

I saw this guy like 2 or 3 years ago, just a week before i went to Iraq. He performed in a garage and that was the only thing that went through my head the whole 14 months of hell. This man is like noone else, he is a god!!!
