Naval Attacks!! BALDWIN COUNTY, ALABAMA-------The Navy has expansion plans which were approved in September of 2008 by the county planning board and the gang of four. Pursuant to these plans the Navy will extend and double the runways at Barin Field in Foley, Whiting OLF in Silverhill, and eventually the Summerdale OLF. The property has already been purchased and the work has begun. All this is to accommodate a newer trainer the T6b Texan which can fly higher, holds more fuel, and makes twice as much noise as the older T-34 which will be phased out.
So hold on to your hats people of BALDWIN COUNTY your so called representatives have sold your county to the Military.
This is one of the planes that fly over my house almost every night. When flying circles around the Bay Minette Municipal Airport they seem to be capable of flying one route only and thats right overhead. These planes are very noisy and flying very low. No, i don't live in front of the runway and i don't live right next to the airport.
