This is a quick overview of my friend's HO Gs4 in Southern Pacific Daylight colors. This has great sound and awesome effect with lighting and smoke.

Sorry about the glare when I tried to focus on the cab, I was trying to get a shot inside at the conductor and engineer and turn on the cab light, but its really hard to see.

Hope you enjoy!!!

  • hey does it run good? and work on bachmann track and ez command?

  • Yes, this loco runs very well. My friend's other one has had issues with the front guide wheels coming off the tracks, but I understand that all it needs is to have the spring shortened or compressed and it won't jump the tracks.

Sorry, but I'm not sure about the Bachmann track. All of this track is Walther's code 83 flex track.

  • OMG LOOK AT THAT BEAST I WANT ONE :)

  • Yeah!!! This is my friend's, and I have to admit, I'm more of a diesel train guy, but I would like to get one of these loco's too! The sound is awesome!!!

  • @pwhite73 Hey Pwhite do you run norfolk southern?

  • @meguell3 No, sorry. Pretty much just southwestern railroads. How come?

  • I have the Daylight too. I also really like it and who ever really likes to collect MTH HO I personally recommend you should get it great detail, great sound everything is great about the Daylight. You make really good vids of MTH HO trains

    I gave it a thumbs up :)!!!!!

  • @frisco1522driver I run mine and it runs great!. And I have run it on Bachman track, you just have to make sure that it is clean.

  • sounds like engines panting! haha

  • I haven't really noticed the looped sound too much, but I'm more of a diesel enthusiast. But I can pick them out on diesels so I know exactly what you're talking about. I wish there was some way to modify the sound so that you dont't have the chuff when the loco is slowing down, that'd make it more realistic and sound really cool.
