I know one thing for sure, he lost out on something more precious than any silver or gold, she is my jewel and my angel and she made my life more richer than any silver or gold could every do.I am so very blessed and I love her so much. She has gone to college and now works in an operating room as a surgical technician and started back to school to be a nurse but had to put it on hold until she can afford to go back. CONT..

Our lives was just like the song, "Her birthday came and he never even called." I shed many tears for her. It is heart breaking to feel that your child has been denied and rejected. I think that it bothers me, more than her because she was loved doubled by everyone in her life. Her father was a very, very wealthy man and a very, very selfish man.. but my Kasey turned out just fine without him.

I was pregnant when my baby's father and I had broken up 25 years ago, I broke down and cried every time I would hear this song because I knew that he would not be a part of her life. When I heard the little girl's name in this song, I knew that this was going to be my daughters name. The name felt like it had been sent down from heaven just for her.....CONTINUED ABOVE.

A haunting song. I love it. Tells a real story.
Doesn't matter if somebody calls it country or pop or
whatever. It's a song that sticks with me, especially the ending.

My fav. Dan Seals song. It is so pretty, the words, the singer, the message - all of it is. I sure miss Mr. Seals. I think cancer got him too. He will always be one of the greatest, ever. All that glitters sure isn't gold.
