Mow Cop is the highest point for miles. It's a small village on the Staffordshire/Cheshire border inbetween Congleton and Kidsgrove. Mow Cop Castle is a well known landmark. This video shows panoramic views from the castle to the Staffordshire and Cheshire towns and countryside.

  • lovely video of a place i see everyday, and also so nice to see when i person carries a passion for the place they live in like i do not just live there if that makes sense? lol.

  • @cibie01 It makes perfect sense ....... so many people don't appreciate their immediate locality and it's a shame as we are so lucky in the beautiful open space we have

  • I remember going there with my parents when I was little! We've got photos of my mom and dad sitting in the windows of the castle from before I was born. I still remember it and I must have been only about three =)

  • @TyshaOakes Nice to bring back the memories Tysha !

  • i live in mow cop...1 question..what happened to all the other stuff there..why is it all of the castle?

i go up there almost everyday..my dad used to sit me in the castle windows until they put bars over them and the door :(

  • @RebeccaRAS Hi Rebecca, hopefully parts of the other scenery shall follow. There's far too much to include in one video!
