STS 2011 Faculty Orchestral Excerpts Class

This compilation is from an orchestral excerpts master class by the Southeast Trombone Symposium Faculty in Legacy Hall on Friday, June 17, 2011. Colin Williams and George Curran from the Atlanta Symphony, Jay Evans and Nicole Abissi from the Alabama Symphony and Dr. Bradley Palmer of Columbus State University are joined by Andrew Miller, tubist of the Alabama Symphony and tuba/euphonium professor at CSU. The Southeast Trombone Symposium is held annually in the beautiful facilities of the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, home to the 2013 International Trombone Festival. The STS is a 5-day trombone event held each summer. S.E. Shires is the major sponsor of the event, providing new trombones to the winners of the competitions.
