During the 1790s unions were formed by the carpenters and shoemakers of Philadelphia, the tailors of Baltimore, Md., the printers of New York City, and groups of crafts workers.
If you had to choose, would you rather have 1) a job not larded-up with gov't--mandated benefits...or 2) no job at all?
Union "gains" are in reality simply forcing more and more workers into "choice"#2.

Union are history the minute they quit turning out MBAs and have managers that treat workers like hell. Most of the time a union is there to defend workers from bad managers. Nothing to do with money just respect.

thats right unions are HISTORY. no need for unions its not 1930 its 2011 and the government has"workers rights " things like 401k to set up for yourself that the worker controlls and it wont "disappear"

We have the union here at Lockheed Martin in Orlando Fl off Sandlake road, they are a bunch of stupid lazy uneducated trash. I do love their little cry baby union newsletter "The Phantom" it features me quite often over the years. Guess who I am Union Toads???????
