Perhaps if you cleaned the screen of your old reader it would look whiter, too. Mine would :D I'd like to see how comfortable is the on-screen keyboard. I am not sold on this model or the touchscreen one, but I doubt you can get a better reader for that price. And after all, one can use a computer to purchase books. The most important thing, the screen, is the same as on the expensive models. As for USB charger, I am sure everybody must have at least 5 spare chargers at home and use one for all

thanks for doing this, i've been searching for a good look at the new kindle on youtube for a while now (most videos just showing the touch or a kindle exclusive to the US).

the charging ports are battery access for cases so they to use the kindles battery to power a light on the case etc .. XD

The US always gets better deals than UK and other countries. I live in Spain and I have calculated that the iPad in here costs a lot more (100$ more app.)than in the US.
