@askel89 ??? I don't know what agility associations you are n in but in every one in the world I am familiar with, a "correct" weave entry is one where the dog enters the poles with their left shoulder against the first pole -- which is exactly what "Feature" did in this clip -- no wrong entries here --even when I purposely "tried" got get her to make a mistake!

Can't wait to get the DVD. I've got an 18 month old Miniature Schnauzer that just started training weaves, but I'm stopping until I get the DVD. My Aussie just can't seem to get collected enough to stay in the weaves, HOPE IT'S NOT TO LATE TO RETRAIN him using your method. I guess I'll have to rename them cuz "Weave" isn't getting the best weaves from him. What is it you said to your BC at the end of this video to start the weaves? p.s. I love "Shaping Success", what a great read.

LOL her cue is "weavers." I started that after I taught in NZ as I thought it was great that that is what they called weave poles down there! As for your Aussie, yes changing your weave pole cue is important as it likely is "poisoned" in that it has been paired with the dog charging at poles and not collecting. Good luck and report back how things work for you!

Look at those entries...WOW!! And their speed and focus and drive through the weaves -- that Giant Schnauzer completely amazed me!, fastest weaves I've ever seen a giant do!!

That is Pande, he started with us here at puppy camp and he and Arlene have been a show stoppers ever since. . . as great an advertisement as he is for our program's weaves he is just as good a poster boy for our contact program!
