Sir Edward Heath Dedication

Sir Edward Richard George Heath, KG, MBE (9 July 1916 17 July 2005), often known as Ted Heath, was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1974 and leader of the Conservative Party from 1965 to 1975. Heath's accession represented a change in the leadership of the Conservative party, from aristocratic figures such as Lord Home to the self-consciously meritocratic Heath, and later, Margaret Thatcher.

He is remembered as being the Prime Minister who took Britain into the European Economic Community (EEC) in 1973
