  • That is not a push jerk, if it was to have a name it is an overhead squat from a quarter spuat or power position

  • Respond to this video...I never said this was a Push Jerk. It is called a Push Jerk Recovery. It is a specific strength and balance exercise we perform. We also do Split Jerk Recoveries. She is starting in a tall position, which we teach, then drops down. If it were an overhead squat her arms would stay straight the entire time off the rack.
