Arabandi - Bandar

Arabandi was created in 1999 in Tel Aviv as four great musicians of the highest international standards came together to create a musical encounter such as had never before been seen or heard. Their music is a contemporary fusion of Eastern cultures with each of the musicians bringing their own unique musical tradition into the mix.

Krishnamurti Sridhar, born in Bombay studied classical Indian music for many years and graces this album with his masterful playing of the sarod. Tayser Elias, born in Shfaram, is one of the best oud players in the world and is a most prominent Classical Arabic musician. Amir Shahsar was born in Iran and raised on Persian and Arabic music. He lends his skills here both as a vocalist as well as playing the Ney. Zohar Fresco was born in Israel to parents of Turkish background and completes this musical masterpiece with his talented percussions.
