Godlewska REWELACYJNA!

bravoooo!!!

Her singing was very good, but I didn't like her acting much, her gestures didn't look like a doll at all, she needs to be way more stiff to play a doll.
-
Gosh, this is beautiful, and she makes it look so easy (it's not; I've tried it). :) I could listen to this all day.
-
she sounds like Natalie Dessay here and lokks a bit the same and acting is somehow similar - very fresh. a very good singer by the way, sang soundtrack for farinelli movie

not perfect not this not that ... but BRAVA ... I enjoyed very much and nice to listen here when is not being FARINELLI!

ONTOLOGIX -- Sir I agree with you that there are many quality sopranos on continental europe who will probably never be " discovered " such as er and Adriana Kohútková and Jana Sibera. There is really oversuply of talent -- and of course if such talent was combined with the luscious breasty body dancing to that crappy music on you page then there would be a star indeed
Wow, the most tonally accurate Doll Song I've heard yet. Beautifully sung.

Certainly a good performance and above average, but anything but perfect. Her coloratura technique is superb, but her voice turns metallic and even shrill when she rises to high notes.
Similarly good arias of Olympia can be heard in many small theatres in continental Europe.
"reviveramesh" should note that the composer ws called "Jacques Offenbach", while the poet and protagonist of this opera was called "E.T.A. Hoffmann", both born in Germany.
