    He isn't Zappa, moron, is Mike Keneally...and I think that Zappa knows more about harmony than you. He usually experiments with the rhythm in two or three different modes, he knows what he's doing, and you can say it by listen to his compositions: some written parts look like his solos: rhythmically odd, melodically so advanced (at least for you).
