Here is a terrain model of Mount Everest that I cut out with my CNC machine. This was made by using Google Earth, Sketchup, and CamBam+. Lots more info at the link.

    It's actually not plastic. It's called machinable wax and can be remelted and recast multiple times. It's nice because there is less wear and tear on the router bit and also less waste.

    Sorry this reply is so late. I have a bad habit of not checking the youtube comments.

  • Pretty impressive! and by your tutorial on your website, not very hard to do! Where can I get some of that plastic? Right now i'm pocketing things in wood, which isnt a very good idea for the air.
