Street Knowledge/Cheap Thrills Prods. was in the house to capture Nas live and in rare form at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. The show presented by Live Nation produced a sold-out and eager crowd, twho stood out in the shoddy weather to see their favorite m.c. God's Son aka Nas. After a warm-up performance by DJ Mister Cee and introduction by Funk Master Flex, Nas came out to the sounds blaring through the sound system of DJ Marley Marl and was warmly greeted by his loyal and diehard fans. Nas started the show with the classic cut " New York State of Mind" and continued to run through his catalog from the beginning of his career to his most recent album Hip hop is Dead. Briefly speaking on his most anticipated album to date, the still to be released "Nigger", Nas promised the hip hop faithful that the album would be packed with thoughtful and controversial themes and that the title had mainstream Americas's "panties in a bunch".

Nas over Em all day. Nas influenced Em's style without no doubt and Em has admitted this in interviews when saying that critics said he sounded too much like Nas on his first album infinite and he said people like Nas was all he listened to and that's why his style was like that. End of story.

Yeah Nas definitely comes over Em. Em is actually like top 5 but i hate it when people like say hes the best for the wrong reasons.

dude you're forgetting the part where eminem came up with slim shady because he sounded to much like nas listen to the slim shady ep or the slim shady lp or marshall mathers lp and then come back because apparently you haven't listened to that much eminem if you think he sounds like nas or watch some nas vs. eminem videos they are equal at best
