Where the hell are the tunnels?! We looked for em for a while and couldn't find em! We were parked at the lower parking lot. which way from there? very far?

You can get to the tunnels several different ways. We decided to take the scenic route, which is basically following the river all the way down 'til you literally run into the tunnels. The other way to go is just take the highway down to where the sand dunes are and there is a drop-in on the left hand side that take you right to the upstream side of the tunnels or you can go to the drop-in on the right hand side that will take you to the downstream side.
