Without the three of them, Dave's powerhouse drumming, Krist's steady baselines, and Kurt's voice, there would have been no Nirvana. They all made Nirvana what it was, and what it remains today, not just Kurt.

Agreed, Nirvana was not just Kurt. Kurt was the writer and force behind Nirvana as we remember it but he was not the band. Krist and Dave provided key elements to the music that made it what we hear. Dave has proven himself to be a profound song writer and a master of drums, vocals and guitar.
