Seriously, if you forget that part, the one with the ghost of the guy and woman going to their house on a motorcycle and the fact that mobile suits uses giant wheels to move in space, that show is actually really good. It's the one I have seen with the most realistic aftermath of the war (even though that the fact that so many children at the front line survives is actually weird) and death rate per battle. It's depressing but war IS extremely depressing and can be even crueller than this.
