@jeanclaudelavallee No modifications needed. The Concours14 2008 and 2009 model are identical. (except for the colors).

Did you have to mofify or remove the center stand ? V&H says it is not recommended for the 2008 model . Please advise, Thanks, JC

I was wondering about repacking...if anyone really worries about doing it? Is it a bear to open up the canister to check the condition of the packing?

Did you have to install a Fuel Pack controler # 63015 as listed as accessories on the manufacturer's web site ?
V&H tells me it is mandatory. Is this corrrect ? I dont need necessary need more performance, I just need to have the new pipe compatible with the engine and not negatively affect it . Thanks. JC

@jeanclaudelavallee Nope, I did not install a Power Commander or other fuel map modification product. I run a K&N High Flow Air Filter and the CSOne Slip on exhaust with the default ECU fuel map. I have not pulled the secondary throttle body butterfly valves (secondary flies) though.

@TerrorDBN I just ordered the V&H CSOne pipe, but am a little nervous as they say it doesn't fit a 2008 C14. When you mentioned not having to pull the secondary throttle body butterfly valves, is this something you have to do? Just trying to figure out what I need to do when I get the pipe.

@btbaker222 It fit my '08 C14 with no problems. You do not have to do any other modifications to the bike for the aftermarket slip-on exhaust. Just follow the install instructions. The secondary fly removal will give you more mid-range power at the expense of a touchy throttle. I decided not to remove the secondary flies. I end up riding in weather often, so decided the touchier throttle was not something I wanted to deal with. The bike is still plenty powerful with them left in!

Now that you have ride your bike with the CSOne for few thousand miles, do you still like the sound. Is it to loud on long rides ? JC

@jeanclaudelavallee Love the sound of the CSOne! It does not drone or cause any annoyances at all for me on long rides.
