  • Can I carry my version phone number over to strait talk?

  • Actually picked up a phone as a second phone to use to talk to my friends and family. I used to use my work phone for everything but I thought it would be nice to have a number just for my personal use and for only xxx bucks a month why not? Long story short my unlimited straight talk phone has been so reliable that I’ve been using it for work too!

  • I so hear you on bills and the extras! It's probably the biggest thing I look forward to on Straight Talk-no bill, no fuss. Seems easy enough to top up monthly, and their phone selection seems quite nice and affordable too. Roll on, month end!

  • I have Nokia 6790 smart phone and it is awesome with the straight talk plan! I travel around the country and i use my phone everywhere, anytime, and I always get great service. Nice combo right there...

  • I got the Samsung Finesse from Straight Talk last year and I've loved it and the unlimited plan! Can any of you tell me if the Nokia 6790 is worth up-grading and why or should I stick with my Finesse? One way or another I'll stay with Straight Talk as it's the best unlimited plan out there.

  • Damn you guys are all really passionate about phones... but the price does sound nice... I suppose that would be a reason for enthusiasm if it works just as well or better than contracts then i suppose it's weird that everyone overpays lol

  • @2010Shawna2010 Well I know why you would choose something else: You hate having money, you love to overspend, and you really like getting shafted by shady two-year deals.

  • Remember guys you receive unlimited text/web/calls, free 411 calls and nationwide coverage for $45.00. You also have the flexibility to change to another option depending on your budget or usage. You also get diversity where you can choose other option and not be bound to just one. It's also extremely affordable and uses the Verizon network which ensure no dropped or interrupted calls. Now having said all that it is a no brainer .............. why choose anything else!!!!!!!

  • @posserable I wouldn't even call it "the same" service... Remember, Straight Talk uses the Verizon towers, and that's the US's largest network which means NO dropped calls. It's an upgrade for less!

  • @posserable It definitely does sound like pre paid is the way to go these days! Is Straight Talk the best out there? $45 a month sounds pretty much unbeatable to me..
