Artistic Ballet Pole Dance with Butterfly Wings!

This is a performance I correographed for the retirement celebration of a colleague at work. I'm only an amateur so in front of at least 50 people I work with I was VERY nervous! Thanks to the coaching from Rachel Anstis - the most awesome pole teacher in the World!

Thank you for this very kind comment Becalamode :-) I take it on the chin about the costume. In a performance to 50+ colleagues in a conservative University environment, full body coverage was necessary - these leggings are the only thing that have a similar grip to skin. The butterfly wings were significant for the person the performance was for. I also think it is good to push the common perceptions of pole dance by challenging the bikini and stripper shoes with something more artistic.

Hi, nice dance, creative performance, good music. i like most of teh costume. Teh butterfly wings in teh title made me expect more wings though. Now teh wings look just liek some hairdecoration, not really like wings, but i like the idea of a pole dance outfit with butterfly wings <3
