Although I'd like for Kamelot's 'New Allegiance' to be the original, René Dupéré's version for Cirque du Soleil is earlier. Nouvelle Experience's soundtrack came out in 1990 and The Fourth Legacy came out in 1999.

Look up the video for "Cirque du Soleil Aerial Act from 1987" (from 0:50 onwards), then look up "Limp Bizkit - Getcha' Groove On"
I don't know whether the guy contacted the people from Cirque about the rights to that tune (I don't think either of them is in desperate need for money either) but the whole thing looks pretty fishy to me...

@AmonAmarthViking666 this was recorded in 1993, the show was invented in 1990, 10 years earlier... and i highly doubt rene dupere would ever steal some random ass song from a band

Kamelot's introduction is six years older (2000) than this video. So Circque du Soleil took their song.
