  • I heard Hollow Bones of White Swans last night and this morning and am wondering if and when there is a Paige solo recording for sale. Amazing song that hit home especially on waking this morning. Thanks Paige and to the whole family. Coming from a fam of traditional gospel harmony, it means a lot more to hear those family harmonies and that the traditions are being kept alive in such young people. I'm only 35 but when I get around the old guys, my heart just melts. Y'allz good.

  • @zerowavezero Thanks (and Paige says thanks too). "Hollow Bones" is part of a new collection of all-original songs Paige is currently recording that she hopes to have out in the next few months. Stay tuned...

  • Incredible tone. I know that the guitar is superior quality, I want one pretty bad, but how on earth did this video's audio get recorded. I see a cable inserted into the 1/4 jack but I would find it hard to believe the guitar has onboard electronics that sound that amazing. Great playing too obviously! :P

  • @121jigawatts: There's no external mic here - we just used the onboard pickup, which is an LR Baggs Anthem-SL under-the-saddle transducer and mic. My recollection on this one is that we ran the output through one of our LR Baggs DIs (I think our Para DI) and then into a Mackie 808S mixer with a wee bit of reverb, then direct into the video camera. I think it's a bit overdriven here. Check out Paige's Lewis and Clark video on our page. That one is a bit cleaner without the DI.

  • anyone know what tuning this song is in?

  • @lighttreerulercat,

Paige is doing this one in CGCGCE tuning.
