Great vid lots of power on this one, just wondering if there was DPU power on it.

Enjoyed the video! Nice catch.

i was told years ago they were called "mules" when they were more common on the old BN line that runs thru here. i haven't seen a booster in a LOOONG time

Since you've informed me about the Paxmans on the HST, I'll do the honors here-The first three units are GE AC44W's, that have a 4 stroke 16 cyl., single turbocharged prime mover that puts out 4400 HP at 1050 RPM. The last two are variations of EMD's, (GP60B and SD-40-2) both with 2 stroke 16 cyl. w/ a single (clutch driven at low speeds) turbocharger that put forth 4300 and 3000 HP respectively, at around 950 RPM.

Nice vid. The cabless unit is a booster. It runs in MU mode like all the trailing units behind the first unit.

Dude! A cabless unit!!! Could someone fill me in on that???

NICE VID, !!!
Being a "huge" double stack train, it would have been nice to have actually seen all of the train.
A bit closer up view as well would have been better.
