This is a turntable of version 3 of the head/face for SARA 3 for the NeoToonami project. SARA was the ship computer for Toonami on Cartoon Network. She had a humanoid form in which she interacted with TOM, the host. My favorite version is SARA 2, which was a full holographic body. I am trying to make SARA 3 very similar to SARA 2.

I am concentrating on the face and shape of the head now. With this version, I am trying to maintain the anime style of version 1, but still make her look more mature like version 2.

She is built off DAZ 3D's Aiko 3 character. This is rendered in Carrara 8 Pro. Video editing in Pinnacle Studio. Music is Desolation by _res of NeoToonami.

The other versions of the head can be found here:

Version 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaXojDsa6FU
Version 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dahgobfHZaw

There is more to come, so please subscribe.

Please give me some feedback, like this video, and show it to other Toonami fans that you know.

Stay gold!

  • I way liking this version!

  • @Animestar5 Awesome!

  • are you trying to bring toonami back

  • @blueprint10001 We are a fan project trying to recreate the Toonami style. We definitely plan to produce new animation of TOM, SARA, and a new ship call Renascent, but the project as a whole is still not totally clear.

  • Awesome work so far! I love watching this progress :3

The only things that are throwing me off about her head at this point are the ears. I think the distance between them and the eyes is pretty alright, but they're very small, don't you think? It's somewhat jarring to me. Nonetheless, great job on all of your work!

  • @nessisasquid Thanks so much! Thoughtful comments are valuable, since it takes some time to make one. :-)

Are you saying that the ears are too small?

  • @animatigital It is either that or the space is too large, though I'm leaning more towards the former. Then again, for an anime look that might be appropriate, I would experiment with changing the size of the ears or the space or both. Again, excellent work :D

  • @OVERsKiLLZSLITZ9 Thanks! .. but don't give me too much credit. Since it is a Poser format figure, there is a base figure to start from. On the other hand, this is still a lot of work. :-)

  • nice dude THE HEAD LOOKS AMAZING

  • @animatigital alright awesome i look forword to your next video =)
