  • I was also born in 1939. On Dec. 23, 1941, my father together with two of my uncles and a cousin were killed by the Japanese at Sir Tang Shiu-kin's residence at 51-53 Blue Pool Road. Some of Sir Tang's friends seeking refuge at his villa were killed also. Sir Tang saw the Japanese soldiers approaching, in a moment of panic, ran away without alerting the people staying at his home.

  • Very good. My father fought for HK. He was severely wounded and shipped off to Japan until the end of war. He is still alive at 91 yrs old and still has a very clear recollection of events.

  • Very good thanks

    I like to see more

    So that I know more

I was born at hong kong at 1939

    And lived there. Thanks again.

  • Interesting old film. Where did you get it, eagle3x8? Clearly the narration is in Spanish? Also, can you identify the towers that appear at 2:59? They do not seem to be features of a standard fuel depot.
