hopefully everyone does realize that god of war didn't create hack and slash, it only set high standards for newer hack and slash's. so, how is this a rip off of god of war? so, to the little kids who think god of war is the world's best game, and that every other hack and slash is a complete rip off and should burn in hell for copying

DoubleXlll is 100% correct. All you kids crying that God of war is the best game ever need to shut the hell up. I played that game and honestly, its a fucking waste of time. I mean if a game is going to be monotonous, the least it could do is be more entertaining. I had WAY more fun playing Ninja Gaiden, or Devil May Cry. Those games were actually fun and challenging, I got through most of God of war and I'm sorry, its not fun. Its all hype and button mashing. Truth hurts.

@RickyRicon1019 Well, the father of hack and slash is way older than that, Diablo would be more appropriate, but Devil May Cry is an amazing game, very stylish and challenging, far more than I can say for God of War. It seems that most people praising God of War and saying its some kind of gift to man are like 17 year olds that think blood and gore makes a game.

I don't think anybody can argue that this game obviously borrows from God of War, at the very least. The roll-dodge, the whip attacks, the basic style...

Whether one or the other is superior just depends on your taste, but this game IS known for borrowing from lots of other games, so it doesn't really matter.
