Friesian Gallop

I don't see a gallop I see a canter, there is actually no way to do a gallop in such a small ring, regardless of the type of horse, maybe a pony but not a horse, I've ridden friesians too.. and this is clearly a canter, . it has 4 beats not 3. If you talking about European gaits then its understandable that you would say Gallop, as it is what it is, I was born and raised in Germany, but maybe put it in "gallop" so people understand or in your description, just a thought. ;)

He isnt landing hard on the horses back that is a half seat, almost all professional roders ride in this position as it takes weight of the horses back and is actually better for them.

without helmets?????!!!

@MisCat24 I don't get why she wasn't sitting to the horses canter either she was moving with him but out of her seat ??

That rider has a beautiful half seat in the canter :)

Poor guy just can't seem to grasp the concept of a left lead.

I don't know about everyone else, but I see a nice 4 beat gallop... He is sooo gorgeous!! You are so lucky to have a horse like him! He looks like fun to ride :D

Nice helmet :-)

He is gorgeous.(:
It looks very good, it would be better if you were sitting down and up straight a bit more, but maybe thats dificult with this specific horse.

@MisCat24 No need to tell a Grand Prix rider that and she was his best rider ever (sadly, we had to move to another location). The rider in this video was schooling him green at 5 years of age at the time (less than 1 year under saddle). She did a great job with him - you should see him now. We all just love him!
