whenever i tried to partition a external hard drive, it kept failing and now my computer cant even tell that it is plugged in, how do i undo this and completely restore my hard drive

Good way to simplify partioning a little bit, but partioning a harddrive is somthing i'd rather trust with microsofts own partitioning software for maximum security for your harddrives, but that's just me :)

hey microsoft sam
The 64 bit version of Easus has to be paid for to use.
For a FREE partition manager that works with both 32bit and 64bit,
try Partition Wizard.
Just do a search in google for partition wizard and it will show a link to their website.
In general, the directions for using it are similar to Easus.
Good luck.

I don't know the solution to a write protected partition. If you still have the problem, try searching the posts in the Easus forum.

Could u tell me how did you record the screen while rebooting and shutting down your PC?
sanskarkatiyar 2 years ago
The screen I recorded was from a virtual machine. I believe it was VMware. That allowed me to run everything in a window so my main system kept running while rebooting the virtual machine did its thing in the separate window.

do i need a logical or a primary partition to install another OS?

I use primary partitions myself, but it's my understanding that logical partitions are OK also.
Good Luck.
