Steve Perry is the greatest ever...there are only a handful of singers in rock that can rival the smooth delivery of the ultra high falsetto notes of Steve Perry....Mercury, Deyoung, and Delp come to mind...but how unfortunate it would have been if Perry had quit music like he had intended to after the tragic loss of his bass player in Alien Project...what a ride it has been...it is a shame that the 8 relentless years of touring with journey destroyed his voice...but the man is an inspiration
