Dont dis em bcause if u dont know what ur talkin bout you.Take sum time an look it up first.Dont get me rong there r ppl that do thes cruel acts. Pls dont commet on my spellin cause I had 2 do that so it would all fit

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU RIDE SADDLESEAT

  • Wouldn't it be great of people would just enjoy these videos? Unless you really know how one goes about training a Saddlebred, I wouldn't suggest bashing the riding style. We do not break our horses' tails. Soring is illegal. Chains are not tight. Conditioners are used to condition their muscles. The shoes aren't as heavy as you think.

I could easily lash out at a variety of other disciplines, but I don't. Do you know why? It's because I don't know what does into them. Is being civil that hard?

  • il causing no pain to the horse when the horse is not working it can relax its tail and put it down but in some smaller shows they might just put a brace under the tail to hold it up

I hope this answered your question:)

  • @alpinecone, soring of the feet is very painful to the horses people put hot sauce ect. In their feet. because it burns they pick up their feet very fast and hold them in the air longer, but this is not the case with every saddlebred. Most are loved. And as for the tails they can be showed with a natural tail but that is usually not the case, in the big shows most of the tails are "broken" where the tail is not actually broken at all the put the horse under and snip a small musle in the ta

  • Beautiful horses. I have a couple of questions that might have been answered before but I couldn't find answers in the 205 previous comments. I assume Saddlebreds have a natural high knee action like Hackney Horses and some other breeds and vary by individual horse. I don't think weights are cruel seeing as I use them on my ankles when I walk and they don't hurt me but is soring for show horses prevalent like in the Tennessee Walkers? Also are they allowed to be shown natural tail? Thanks.

  • Most saddlebreds are treated very well

  • Ok I just want to say that these horses are amazing and I ride a 4 year old 17 hand Saddlebred and I love him he has the most personality out of all the horses I ride ( his name is scoobydoo) and all u ppl that r saying that these horses r abused well ya every breed is so pls STFU and just enjoy these amazing beautiful animals tht I love so much(3 -3 :D :P :3

  • They do not break the tails, ever..

  • Nice to see some unaltered tails. I don't see the point in an unnecessary surgical procedure just for looks. Besides which it looks ridiculous, the result makes me think it looks more like someone let a kid pin a tail on it.

  • kk i just dont understand this.. what is it all about and what is the point of it?

  • I agree why not enjoy, plus these videos, i mean the training is lighter on them then just about every single other discipline, and those shoes are a rubber compound, and with the tails like saddle says its not legal to break them, all thats done is PAINLESSLY making a small incision in two tendons, no bones involved.

  • @geekyXkrusnik THANK YOU! im so tired of people talking sh!t bout saddle breds and saddle seat
