My cousin lived in Hawaii for years and he's been to every island even Ni'ihau. He took his own boat, went up on shore got some pics. and left as fast as he arrived. I believe that island is owned by the Robertson Family purchased in the 1800's.

The was this thing at the MACC(maui arts and clutrual center) and they were talking bout how lots of the trash the the islands produce wind up in the uninhabited islands and there is this bird(dead now) and they called it Shed Bird cause it had all of this trash inside of it. And in one of the pictures it looked like a suit case but it was a tv washed up on the beach

That is true, only the uninhabited parts are allowed. In fact you can't even fly over the inhabited parts, either. I like that.

Niihau Helicopters is the only way to get there; they do it maybe once/twice a week but only with five or more passengers.
