Wow! Yes!
-
She was past her prime here, but still amazing!
-
This is about a cow that swallowed a bottle of purple ink and mooed indigo
-
this is a nice medley of Ellington adding Sophisticated Lady to Mood Indigo. I like the way they work together. Pass harmonizes his chords to Ellas tone. He starts on the bottom 4strings and works the high string harmonies when she sings higher. They both are missed.

soul comes from true pain one feels whatever the circumstance.... what an original

I would like to thank everyone who posts &/or listens to Ella (&Joe too!). Normally, I spend my Youtube time being a nasty little troll (strictly for everyone's education & entertainment, of course). Ella always brings out the compassion in me (what little there is). Evil will never triumph in this World, as long as people like Ella come in to it.

I have a good bit of his playing written out but not in tab. I especially like to learn what he played while accompanying Ella
-
Is there a tab for his playing?

She was amazing even in her later years...omg it just gives me chills. She is my favorite singer of all time..

@antoniosiliberti13 Yes! Diva y maestro!
Gawd! Even in her later years, no one could do what Ella could did with her voice. Simply the greatest female jazz singer - bar none - that this country has ever produced.
I miss you Ella.

Ella, you're the bomb, bring back memories of my Mum, a beautiful Maori from New Zealand, who had a smooth voice like Ella and Sarah Vaughn
