Once again!

This snare drum is the bizz, there's no doubt about it. Even at higher tunings it doesn't give up its beefiness. This, along with my stave shell Guru snare, represents the best quality UK craftsmanship money can buy. Guru will make hybrids with brass, steel, aluminium, copper and more with a massive selection of woods! If you haven't already checked out Guru Drum Works, please do at:

One more thing, i've recently had the absolute honour to be offered an endorsement with Los Cabos Drumsticks. This Canadian company is based close to the Sabian factory, so you know they're going to be awesome! One of the only big stick manufacturers to use red hickory on all of its core models, Los Cabos deliver on quality.

  • do you have the top head tighter than the bottom head? or visa versa? and also, how do you like the puresound custom pro brass compared to the steel version?

  • @joshuag94 bottom head always tighter on a snare drum, for me anyway. I got it from Bonham's tech Jeff Ocheltree. Once you've cranked up the bottom head you can more or less do whatever you like with the top head and it'll sound good. Brass are definitely more resonant, but the steel are my favourites. Just a tad crisper and they don't 'get in the way' as much.

  • nice ... what is the difference between puresound custom pro snare wire and puresound blasters?

  • @mattmhyc blasters are designed for un-dynamic, high intensity playing. The custom pro's main feature is the quick release system and the new end plates.

  • you need to learn how to play the drums better

  • @cmmania1001 cool, i'll watch your videos (which you don't have) on your channel and get better from them shall i? (which i won't)
