@the4th911 uh, if you knew your Bible very well, you would know that Jesus will say "well done, though good and faithful servant, etc" to those entering Heaven. If He is going to say "well done", then why on earth is it a stretch to imagine He might applaud? Applause is a way of saying well done. The negative comments on this song are just beyond my comprehension.

Also this song has NO bible verses that back up the idea that people in heaven applaud you when you arrive there. In fact applauding someone besides Jesus IS IDOL WORSHIP AND EXALTING THEM! Only Jesus will get applause in heaven NO ONE ELSE! Im being harsh but i gotta say what the bible says. In Psalm 47:1-2 notice ONLY God is getting applause NOT A HUMAN!

And you obviously don't know your Bible very well.... God will say "well done, thou good and faithful servant" - so it isn't a stretch to assume we will be applauded for making it to heaven - and good grief... why get so uptight about a song... maybe you will get applause when you see the devil in person for being such a jerk!

Angels in heaven rejoice when a lost soul gets saved. Imagine going through the gates of pearl, I imagine there will be so much rejoicing going on, I can't wait to make the trip. God Bless the Talleys allowing God to use them like he has. They are using their talents to Glorify God, I applaud them!!!

@the4th911 First of all, nobody asked you, leave your nose on your face where it belongs. Second of all, it's not that serious, it's just a song. Like @Asheltershepherd said this song is recognizing people who have done great works FOR the lord and made the most of their time on earth.

@the4th911 ...This song is recognizing the lives of those that lived and did "works" for the Lord. I do not understand why it's so difficult for anyone to "applaud" the wonderment that they made heaven their home. I think this song awakens the spirit that each of us will one day be judged by the Holy Lamb of God and I pray each of those that critisize will have Him applaud for them too.
