That's crap. The ritual bath is attended only by the convert and an attendant of his/her gender. The Rabbis sit BEHIND A CURTAIN AND THEY CAN SEE NOTHING, understand?
I should know, I went through the process. They make VERY SURE that the prospective convert knows that!
