  • IRA songs ARE NOT outlawed in this country. Get your facts right.

  • @MrHarrylime79 I really couldn't give a flying feck what statement an IRA song is supposed to make, they are still outlawed from foobtall grounds in this country. Bottom line.

  • @yermaw145 I'm afraid my friend that you are inaccurate. All those rebel Songs however offensive to some people they might be are not racial. Singing about the IRA is a political statement and not against the law. I have heard the aforementioned Billy Boys at Ibrox in the past season - brief though it was, it happened in the 1-1 draw with Hibs. The famine song is an away problem quite honestly.

  • @yermaw145 away fans have been caught singing republican songs which i wont deny.I have sung them myself and enjoyed my day out which maybe an admission of guilt but im what you would term a ninety minute bigot but if you are honest then both sets of fans are exactly that.Thats tina turner on the radio with you know what.just going to smash the telly.

  • @baillie67 Well if I was to nitpick, boys of the old brigade is something I have witnessed being sung, and when Celtic were playing Arsenal, Up the Ra was the main theme for that game at the Emirates. It was caught on camera for goodness sake. I am not defending the Billy boys, nor will I deny I have ever sang the song at Ibrox, thats the way it goes a suppose. But the songs banned, hasn't been sung at Ibrox or any other ground since. Nor the famine song.

  • @yermaw145 Im not sure what ira songs you are saying are sung at parkhead but there is good and bad on both sides which im sure you would agree.Up to the knees in fenian blood is very offensive and if you are making a case for that defence

then it is indefencible. If you were to sing racist songs about black people there would be race riots but it seems in this country you can insult catholics an it will be ok.

  • @galso No, sorry, you don't have the right to sing those songs. You don't have the right to sing about a terrorist organisation who bombed innocent women and children to deaths. If you feel the need to march down our streets singing your bitter irish shite, then why don't you merely swim across from the land you CLAIM to be from. IRA songs are banned, and you fucking know why you scumbag. I don't debate with terrorise sympathisers, nor does the MI5 negotiate with terrorists, Now fuck off.

  • @yermaw145 we have a right to sing songs about the struggle for irish freedom over the past 800 years, none of them are racist or sectarian.Your mob sing songs about wading in catholic peoples blood and racist dittys tell an ethnic group to go back to the country of there origin.fuck sake a guy cant even bless himself without you muppets trying to get him arrested LOL.

  • @baillie67 Probably, a few songs are being sung at Parkhead, I myself have witnessed many songs involving 'IRA' and if you are not up to your eyeballs in bias then I feel you'd agree. You're misreading the point I was trying to make, if torturing black people on a football field is as equal a crime with songs being sung such as the Billy Boys, why haven't UEFA made strides to eradicate this aswell ? Never heard of the green straws incident, but I wouldn't call that bigoted either.
