@suttoncd I will not make prejudices, but you say examples of 1 particular exercise at a time?
Are you also good in more in 1 workout? Cause that is what it makes difficult.
-
Why do you make such assumptions? You really think people that strength train fully commit to only one thing? It's their primary focus. I would say I focus on strength training and I can still be fairly competitive in a lot of WODs that I've never done. I do 50 burpees in 2 minutes 17, run close to a 6 min mile, a 5k in under 21 minutes, etc. If you look at some of the guys in the Crossfit gains, one could easily see some lack strength. Sub 400 lbs deadlifts for qualifiers?

to further on your comments on the Navy SEALS. who are considered amongst the best soldiers in the world. Crossfit is now being adobted by many more Special Forces units around the world as their main form of training along with "Mil Athlete" a very similar style. so i guess if the most elite soldiers in the world are using it. you must give it merit...
the majority of people who dont like crossfit are just gym faggots that spend the whole time lookin at there muscles in the mirror. Losers!

a weightlifter has incredible strength power and speed and lacks most other physical domains. a distance runner has incredible cardiovascular/respiratory endurance and a bit of speed and agility, but again lacks most other physical domains. crossfit aims to cover all 10 physical domains therefore creating the fittest people in the world... cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, accuracy.

Clearly iloveagoodbrew has no idea about fitness. Crossfit covers all physical domains, something any one sport doesn't do. Crossfit doesnt make people the best sportsmen in the world (that requires a specific skill to that sport), but makes the best sportsmen in the world even better. Also in reference to your comment about Vince Lombardi coaching 3 NFL winning teams, so what! any team sport almost never has exeptionaly fit people compared to individual sportsmen. they rely on other teammates

hey, i came across a more specific answer today and thought of you.
coach glassman himself has personally coached, among others: rob miller, professional rock climber; garth miller, bjj blackbelt and multiple championship winner; mike weaver, another bjj blackbelt who has won the world cup and us open blackbelt tournaments; mary conover, not an athlete but a grandmother who wanted only to pick up her grandkids, and can now deadlift 100+lbs at age 70...
should i go on?

is that your way of admitting you have nothing better to offer?
-
You musta not have gotten picked for the 5th grade dodgeball squad or something.
-
what's it like to be so insanely jealous of someone or some group?
better question- what makes you so awesome?
better question still- how many rounds of cindy can you complete, and whats your fran, diane, or angie time?
how fast can you run a mile or 5k, how much can you deadlift, how many pull-ups can you complete?
and IF these are not good measures of fitness, then let the almighty and wise iloveagoodbrew enlighten us as to what is.
please do teach us oh great one.

Crossfitters aren't gifted in anything except destroying the nobility of a barbell and making regular exercises such as power cleans or deadlifts look gay with their lack of strength or form.
Fat guy is a fitness expert?

That's funny kbconvert...Vince Lombardi has coached 3 NFL teams, winning Superbowls, training athletes, etc...
Who the fuck has Couch coached? I mean, other than Couchfit megastars presumably? Collegiate level gymNAST? Really? Which college? Any records of his exploits? Any "athletes"-Crossfitters aren't "athletes" by the way..Please, dig out the list of the fitness revolution superstars Couch has coached, besides being pro level gin swillers.
