@tabarnaqdecalisse I don't think so...Mint is a distro for users with no previous Linux experience.Is both powerful and easy to use.
btw: I use Debian but i recommend Mint.

@darkhorsedre Mint has a good package manager.Mint are based on Ubuntu which is itself based on Debian ;)

OK so I still don't know what distro to install on my netbook! it came with Win7, and it has 2Gb and is still crap, so..
I have tried knoppix (on pc's) in the past (and loved it), and am downloading Debian live iso atm..
I know I want KDE or similar (the new Gnome stuff reminds me of win mobile/8! so no no!), and I just want to watch vids/web surf/etc. so who can recommend me a distro on that basis?
