  • @JAVON8081 - "I wish I could have a house party and invite all of U on here and jam out 2 80's all night long."

Lol - brilliant idea, dress the part too, bust the move. Looking back, man I get sad and happy at the same time, such a great era. Don't want to get bogged down in criticism but attitudes were great, less aggressive but more enthusiastic, more fun, more friendly, a party of exploring new ideas and discovery.

    Great times, great comments.

    Big up

  • I'M BACK IN ELEMENTARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AGAIN!!

  • remember working out to this and getting pumped for the upcoming football season

  • classic tune..

  • @theonlymoo5e wow thanks for the insight. Yeah 1984 belonged to Prince. He owned it. International star. Big movie an album that went diamond. I can see "When Doves Cry" ruling the charts for a long time. And Sheila E's "Glamorous Life" another great one to hit number 1.

  • @entertainme3000 When Doves Cry/17 Days by Prince was at #1 on the Billboard dance chart from June 30/84 until this song knocked it off the perch. Glamorous Life by Sheila E knocked this song out of #1 on Aug 18/84.

  • @theonlymoo5e What dance song knocked it off on Aug 18, 1984? I'm curious to know if I would've liked it any better than this. And what dance song did this predecess?

  • @JAVON8081 Well aren't you sweet? Thats so nice of you to want to do that I would love to come if there was such a party!! I would love to relived the 80's. I would gladly trade being a young woman now as supposed to be just a infant in the light 80's.

  • @TheAnnibelle No... It's just different music

  • Hit #1 on the Billboard dance chart for 1 week on Aug 11, 1984

  • Tremendo ritmo.....de otra época tan bella..¡¡¡
