@michaeldoit OK fair enough but the Legion is not always like that mate, I noticed we have a few mates in common. I spent 10 years there and had some great times in Djibouti and Guyane. No one made you go there and I'm sure you were there for a reason.....

@richieh1980 hmm interesting, the last change was allowing French people to join without changing their nationality, although most still do, I wonder what will be next? Maybe a better version of the Famas? LOL

@MRanarchy90 to add on, 2nd rep is basically special forces, I've trained with u.s. special forces and guys who became special forces in a program called sea cadets, great guys but its a shark tank always trying to top each other, fierce competition if you show any sign of weakness you loss their respect quickly. 1 training had 500 people apply, only 25 were accepted, including me, I had gone to another elite training b4 lots of exp, 2nd in command of my unit, that was Sea cadets. 2nd rep harder

@MRanarchy90 I looked into it a bit, just consider it like u.s. special forces, meaning, study big time so you can score well, wouldn't hurt to study some french for at least 4 months with a tutor of some sorts, be physically fit, stay sharp, and be disciplined, sounds easier then it actually is, joining is go to france, say 2nd rep, take the tests, watch your mouth, survive training, and they'll either send you there if you have done well, or just send you to another unit

@MRanarchy90 Of course you have to be one of the best in the group, which means you should have a good mental strength and a good physical strenght. If you ever had any injuries, you shouldn't even once think about joining the 2rep.

@Compantino i went to the website but the page with info on 2rep was all in french.so i cant make out what is says.i just want to know the requirements for joining 2rep
