  • @Kamatzu And yeah I have a feeling if Silverstein was in charge, he just might have kept his promise like he did on the lease, and rebuilt what was lost if they were ever destroyed. After all, that was the agreement. The Twin Towers 2 was is an awesome design, its a shame really.

  • @Kamatzu Great attitude. Would you say that if the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty, other icons of the city, were being replaced with the freedom tower? I dont think any New Yorker would.

  • amazing how teeny tiny men can construct something so HUGE! Amazing!

  • @simonwt hey whats up and yes those areas are to be filled with full penetration welds most of the job is welded connections

  • Local 40 doing what they do best..

    Work safe guys..

  • new york has so much red tape.i am glad they started building this in my lifetime.

  • I've seen big steel working jobs before, this one looks slow, I only see about 20 people working....wtf is going on? No wonder after 8 years it's no bigger than the apartment building in Albuquerque I used to live in.

  • atleast they're above ground and it's starting to look like a building

  • they might make a second building idk.

  • What I would like to know is the section in 0.52, the wedge shaped/unpainted area, is that to be filled up with welds? all the way up, or what is that? I think it's kept paint free for welding, but that looks like it will take a couple of days to weld shut, anyone?

  • While i don't really like the freedom tower, im glad construction is starting to speed up

  • Wicked video.... Thanks
