On March 8th, three men exploded a device on a parking garage in downtown Lakeland, FL. They left the debris, and a pair of unexploded devices. They were found on March 9th, and the bomb squad removed the devices. The men came forward afterwards to explain they had been making a "24" themed commercial for a Mountain Dew video contest.

  • Free them! are you serious? Clearly these kids aren't terrorists! Lakeland police need to suck up their pride and drop these obscure, preposterous charges! Nathan Slaymaker wouldn't hurt a fly. Seriously.

  • so stupid - this did not require a bomb squad or a man hunt ! they have to keep arresting people like this so there is no left over room for polk's crooked cops.

  • wut is this like a works bomb?

  • Thats beast Nathan, but the cops are dumb, I did stupider stuff than this, and I didnt get nothing.

  • Lakeland police appear to be idiots. Can't see the fuss about it. A bomb scare? This would never happen pre-9/11.
